Job Description
- Participate in discussions for new product development – Collaborate on the design and engineering of new footwear models.
- Oversee sample development and process optimization – Manage trial production, develop manufacturing techniques, and establish workflow standards.
- Proficient in upper, outsole, and mold/tooling development.
- Set up secondary processing workflows – Define procedures for high-frequency welding, hot cutting, heat pressing, fusion cutting, etc.
- Develop technical documentation – Create standardized guidelines and specifications for production.
- Train technical staff – Educate teams on new processes, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate cross-departmental progress – Align timelines between R&D, production, and quality control.
- Support ad hoc projects as directed by management.
Requirements
- ERP System Management – Define and execute operational workflows for ERP systems.
- Establish and manage workflows for brand-specific development systems.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint for reports/presentations).
- Pattern Grading & Dimension Systems.
- 15+ years of footwear factory experience.
- 10+ years in technical development (molds, tooling, production processes).
- Good command of both English and Chinese.
- Track record in working with global brands.
