Job Description
- Perform comprehensive cost analysis for raw materials, labor, overhead, and other production cost.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cost control strategies to minimize expenses while ensuring product quality.
- Analyze cost variations and investigate discrepancies to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and lead the audit process for the entire footwear sourcing base to determine whether the most critical controls are operating as intended, and to ensure CBD accuracy in accordance with predefined standards and negotiated components, as outlined in the new costing approach.
- Provide data and data analysis to senior management to facilitate price negotiations on final costs for finished shoes and components.
- Drives and manages standardization projects within the LO.
- Seasonally collect and analyze LO costing data to support the Product Costing team. Provide relevant information to assist with prioritization, benchmarking, and comparison, while offering a big-picture view of costing levers and relevant insights.
- Create and provide key functional reporting, including target FOB achievements, productivity achievements, Factory CBD accuracy, and more.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in footwear costing or a related role.
- Strong data analysis skills, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain a high level of data accuracy and integrity.
- Proficient in MS office applications, particularly Excel.
