Company and Objectives
The factory manager will oversee end-to-end operations of a 30-line garment factory, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety/labor standards. This position will report to the factory general manager.
Job Description
- Production Management – Plan and supervise daily operations, meet targets, optimize efficiency, and resolve bottlenecks. Work closely with production planning and merchandising team to ensure alignment on scheduling and delivery.
- Quality Assurance – Enforce QC standards, drive continuous improvement, and maintain zero-defect output.
- Workforce Supervision – Lead supervisors/operators, conduct training, and ensure labor law compliance.
- Cost & Efficiency – Reduce waste, analyze production data, and optimize workflows.
- Compliance & Safety – Uphold BSCI/WRAP/ISO standards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Reporting – Track KPIs, provide regular update to management, and maintain production/inventory records.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in garment manufacturing, 3+ years in managerial capacity.
- Strong leadership, production planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in garment manufacturing process and related machinery.
- Good command of both English and Chinese (highly advantageous).
