The employer is a top footwear manufacturer supplying to some of the world’s most iconic sports brands. The Costing Manager will oversee the costing operations for assigned brand and deliver accurate and competitive CBD on time.
Job Description
- Lead the costing team and oversee the costing operations for assigned brand.
- Work closely with client on costing matters, handle all costing-related tasks.
- Perform costing analysis to achieve accuracy and competitiveness to meet client expectation while ensuring reasonable profit for the company.
- Perform comprehensive cost analysis for raw materials, labor, overhead, and other production cost.
- Analyze data such as those related to shoe upper, stitching and assembly production to understand room for price negotiation.
- Verify materials cost, consumption, production cost, and mold/tooling cost amortization to achieve costing accuracy.
- Work across departments to handle any anomalies as they rise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in footwear costing or a related role, applicants with experience in sports and waterproof shoes are advantageous.
- Strong data analysis skills, coupled with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with good command of both English and Chinese/Mandarin.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain a high level of data accuracy and integrity.
- Proficient in MS office applications (Excel, Word, PPT. etc.).
