We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead a 20-line garment manufacturing facility in Central Java, Indonesia. The role requires strong technical expertise in sewing and production planning, alongside proven leadership in managing operations, financials, compliance, and workforce performance.
Job Description
- Manage daily factory operations to achieve production targets, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Plan and balance sewing lines; implement lean and continuous improvement practices.
- Provide technical guidance on sewing processes, machinery, and defect reduction.
- Control factory budgets, costs, and profitability; align production with sales and customer demand.
- Oversee shipping, logistics, inventory, and warehouse management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety, and international audit standards (e.g., BSCI, WRAP).
- Lead and develop factory teams, driving accountability and performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years in garment manufacturing, including 5+ years in a senior factory management role.
- Strong technical knowledge in sewing, line planning, and garment construction.
- Experience managing financials, compliance, and export-oriented operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
