Employer is a leading garment manufacturer working with some of world’s most recognizable fashion and athletic brands. The QA Manager will lead the QA and QC department to ensure product quality are up to the quality standard and customer expectations.
Job Description
- Oversee QA and QC department and ensure quality control procedures and standards are implemented throughout the factory.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System and SOPs in accordance with customer requirements.
- Be responsible for end-to-end quality control from incoming materials to shipments, including supplier quality management.
- Plan and conduct internal audit and handle external audit and inspections.
- Monitor quality performance and provide weekly/monthly quality reports.
- Take preventative and correction actions on quality anomalies and provide plan for continuous improvements.
- Provide training to internal stakeholders on quality control and its relevant methods and tools.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
Requirements
- Vocational training and diploma above in Textile/garment discipline.
- 10 years and above work experience in garment manufacturing industry and minimum 3 years in managerial capacity.
- Solid experience in garment quality assurance system and factory quality control, familiar with fabric, lab testing, garment manufacturing process and construction.
- Solid knowledge in fabric and garment quality standards for US/EU market.
- Good commutation skills, good command of both English and Chinese.
- Computer literacy (MS office suite, Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
