Company and Objectives
Employer is an apparel manufacturer with vertically integrated operations, the role will oversee factory QA and compliance performance located in 3 countries in Southeast Asia.
- Local Ethics and Compliance Policies and procedures including certified sub-contractors.
- Factory quality performance and scoreboard.
- Obtaining Gold Factory audit result, and renewing ISO 13485, 9001 Certificates.
- Maintaining group code of conduct.
Job Description
- Implement company policies and/or procedures to support factories on compliance related issue with due regard to legal and regulatory requirements, and guide factories to achieve best practice in compliance.
- Review and standardize SOPs and quality standards across factories by closely collaborating with local teams.
- Work with textile factory QA management team to ensure only quality fabrics are shipped to apparel factories.
- Critically review and analyze audit reports from customers, prepare and submit CAP report timely.
- Initiate process and controls to effectively communicate key Social Compliance information and requirements to marketing and factory stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly compliance performance report, summarize non-compliance issues and improvement plans.
Requirements
- 8 years and above work experience in apparel factory compliance and quality system management.
- Strong knowledge in WRAP, CTPAT, BSCI, LABS, Chemical Restriction, Social Compliance.
- Excellent communication skill with good command of English.
- Leadership skills, ability to build consensus and work cross-functionally.
- Able to travel when required (intermediate travel frequency, within Southeast Asia region).
