
Company and Objectives
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Sales for Activewear & Outdoor category, with location in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. In this role, you will take overall P&L responsibility of this category worldwide, develop network of sales in regional markets, delivering quality-driven products for global premium labels.
Job Description
- Oversee commercial performance, achieve region-specific sales revenue, and profit targets.
- Research and analyze market trend and brand customers’ needs. Manage existing customer portfolio while develop new clientele (B2B Apparel Sales) to support market expansion.
- Align sales & marketing strategies with the Sales Operations. Formulate, fine-tune, and implement sales & marketing programs to address region-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with regional business development personnel in the US, UK, Scandinavian, Southern Europe, Oceania, etc. Liaise with production and logistics departments in China, ASEAN countries to support brand customers business needs.
- Define and deploy pricing policy and product strategy to maintain the competitive edge of the business.
- Liaise with product design & development and fabrics sourcing teams for new seasonal or capsule collection and new category opportunities.
- Prepare regular business reports on P&L, accounts consolidation, sales funnel, forecast tracking, budget execution, policy deployment, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- Over 10 years’ experience in fashion & apparel manufacturing industry, and particularly well-versed with outdoor activewear products, e.g., HIIT, yoga, running, cycling, triathlon, mountaineering, down jacket, skiing, beach & swimwear, etc.
- Sound knowledge in B2B account management, marketing communication, pricing & negotiation, and business development in different regional markets.
- Strong leadership and people management skill to lead the team exceeding targets.
- Business acumen, proactive, resourceful and result driven.
- Frequent business travel to brand customers and/or production vendors is required.
