Company and Objectives
The Human Resources Director will be leading the HR operations to ensure company policies and procedures are implemented smoothly and effectively, he/she will be responsible for developing HR strategies, providing sound advice to senior management to support business objectives, clients’ requirements, and employee rights and welfare for long-term sustainable growth. The role reports to the COO.
Job Description
- Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, training, and employee performance evaluation with top management team, and provide guidance to local HR teams.
- Oversee, develop, and modify all HR initiatives, systems, procedures and tactics for legal compliance and company development.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Establish complete training map which combines with learning maps and core competency for expats to facilitate professional development, management & leadership skill.
- Set up a concrete performance management procedure, guide all expats and management team to follow up on their personal development, monitor managers/employees and communicate regularly about performance, review and communicate their feedback to top management team.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and legal standards with local HR team.
- Actively shape organizational culture like defining company core value, creating sense of belonging for employees, ensuring fair policies for all employees. etc., to increase retention rate.
- Report to top management and clients by analyzing data with HR metric, conducting research on industrial trend, updating new technologies in HR/Talent management, HR program execution status, other improvements, and suggestions.
Requirements
- Diploma and above qualifications, 10 years and above experience in HR and minimum 5 years in managerial capacity, preferably with large scale manufacturing MNCs.
- Knowledge and experience in HR data analysis and reporting.
- Well-versed in human resource management principles and best practices.
- Ability to develop sound HR strategies based on the needs of the origination and its business objectives.
- Knowledge of labor relations, experience in improving employer-employee relationship and retentions.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with good communication and people skills, good command of both English and Chinese is a MUST.
- Organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
