Employer is a reputable garment manufacturer; the IE Manager will be reporting to General Manager.
Job Description
- Oversee IE department day-to-day operations and activities, effectively delegate and supervise team members.
- Track production efficiency daily, and work across departments to provide solution and drive efficiency improvement.
- GSD implementation and provide training and guidance to IE team and production.
- Drive QCO (quick changeover) and line balancing by working across functions including production, quality, mechanics etc.
- Manage lean manufacturing project and implement best practice.
- Factory 6S management and actively drive waste reduction.
- Initiative proposals and projects to drive continuous improvements in productivity, quality and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Diploma and above qualifications in Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of IE experience in garment manufacturing environment, and well-versed in manufacturing best practice.
- A GSD practitioner with experience in GSD implementation.
- Experience in driving lean and continuous improvement projects.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
