Employer is a leading garment manufacturer exporting mainly to the US market. The IE manager will oversee the IE department operations and report directly to the General Manager.
Job Description
- Process Analysis and Improvement: perform garment production process breakdown, establish standard working hours for each process with the aid of GSD and time studies to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Maintain a database for cost calculation, production planning, and pricing.
- Production Process Optimization: develop and implement SOPs for workstations on production floor, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to optimize workflows.
- Continuously improve production efficiency through effective planning, line-balancing, and other IE-related methods.
- Drive standardization throughout production process to effectively manage manpower planning and reduce labor cost.
- Employee Training: train internal teams on IE concepts, line balancing, standard working hours, and efficiency.
- Assist in managing production line operations, optimize manpower planning to achieve smooth production flow.
Requirements
- Diploma and above qualifications in Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of IE experience in garment manufacturing environment, and well-versed in manufacturing best practice.
- A GSD practitioner with experience in GSD implementation is preferred.
- Experience in driving lean and continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well within a team.
- Good command of both English(intermediate level) and Chinese.
